AFZ Deputy for culture, social and tourism announced the performance of the play “Hama Al-Jarf” by the theater group of Basra Art University in Khorramshahr.
According to AFZ’s public relations and international affairs report, Hadi Zarshenas stated: For cultural exchange between Iraq and AFZ, the theater group of Basra Arts University performed the play “Hama Al-Jarf” directed by Prof. “Karim Abboud, in Khorramshahr.
He said: The performance was performed with the aim of supporting the oppressed people of Palestine and bravery of Iraqi Basij or Hashd al-Shaabi in the war with the ISIS terrorist group, and it was welcomed by the people of culture and art in Abadan and Khorramshahr. At the end of this performance, a commemorative plaque signed by the AFZ artists presented to theatre group of Basra.
According to this report, Iraq’s former cultural advisor held a meeting with AFZ Deputy for culture, social and tourism and it was emphasized on strengthening and developing art economy to increase the efficiency of the artists of two countries, and it was decided that in the near future, the AFZ’s cultural officials and artists will have a trip to Basra to visit the Basra’s cultural and artistic centers.
