Accelerating Infrastructure Development in Arvand Free Zone: From Urban Road Rehabilitation to the Launch of a 32.8 Trillion-Rial Project

Three urban and economic infrastructure projects have been inaugurated or launched during the Secretary of the High Council of Free and Special Economic Zones’ visit to Arvand Free Zone on the occasion of Government Week.

In line with the Arvand Free Zone Organization’s ongoing infrastructure development programs, the main roads of Minoushahr were asphalted and officially inaugurated in the presence of the Secretary of the High Council of Free and Special Economic Zones, along with a number of local officials and senior managers of the Arvand Free Zone Organization.

The project was commissioned by the Arvand Free Zone Organization and implemented by the Southwest KARBALA Headquarters. It was carried out with the aim of rehabilitating and upgrading the condition of urban roads, facilitating residents’ mobility, and improving the quality of urban services.

At the same time, the rehabilitation and asphalting project in Neyayesh Township was inaugurated and officially put into operation as part of the Arvand Free Zone Organization’s infrastructure development programs during Government Week. The project aims to improve road conditions, enhance safety, facilitate traffic, and upgrade the urban landscape, constituting part of the Organization’s efforts to strengthen urban infrastructure and promote balanced development across the region.

Alongside the urban rehabilitation projects, implementation of the “Dairy Farm Site Infrastructure Preparation Project – Phase One” was also officially launched. The infrastructure project has been allocated a budget of 32.8 trillion rials and is scheduled to be completed within 24 months under a design-and-build contract.

Under the project, the Arvand Free Zone Organization serves as the employer, while the Mostazafin Foundation is responsible for implementation. The Dairy Farm project is aimed at developing the region’s infrastructure and creating the necessary foundations for the implementation of planned projects at the site.

Taken together, these projects demonstrate the Arvand Free Zone Organization’s continued commitment to urban and development infrastructure at both the municipal and strategic levels. The approach focuses, on the one hand, on improving road quality and urban services and, on the other, on establishing the infrastructure required to support economic development and investment projects across the region.
