World Tourism Day and Tourism Week are an excuse to emphasize the important and effective role of this dynamic industry in the growth and prosperity of sustainable economy.
This year, the tourism week was chosen with the slogan “Emergence of new ideas in Iran’s tourism” following the slogan of the World Tourism Organization with the title “Rethinking Tourism” with the priority of revitalizing tourism with the approach of the local community and the environment.
Based on the considered slogans, the revival of this important industry after about 3 years of stagnation due to the Corona virus epidemic, will undoubtedly be an important step for a powerful beginning.
I, in turn, wish to congratulate the World Tourism Day and Tourism Week to all the activists in this field in our homeland, Iran; Especially those involved in various fields of tourism in AFZ, and I hope that with the efforts and synergy of tourism activists, we will see the prosperity of this valuable industry in Abadan and Khorramshahr cities.
