Mr. Mahmoud Azand, manager of Public Relations and International Affairs department of Arvand Free Zone Organization announced that three joint meetings with the officials of Basra province held specialized cultural, sports and economic programs and exhibitions with this organization.
According to the public relations and international affairs department of AFZ Organization, Azand explained his one-day trip to Basra province of Iraq, which was carried out with the director of tourism and cultural heritage of this organization and representatives of the Khorramshahr Chamber of Commerce. A separate meeting was held with the director of the Southern Iraqi Cultural Center, the director of the Union of Radio and Television Networks of this region and the Consul General of Iran in Basra, considering the cultural commonalities between the people of AFZ and Basra Province of Iraq, in the direction of unity and cooperation as much as possible for cultural exhibitions. and art and joint programs should be placed on the agenda of the parties.
Azand admitted: The joint production of cultural and tourism documentaries, sports competitions, the expansion of health tourism services, natural, historical and religious tourism, as well as the use of television capacity for Quranic productions, etc., were among the other issues raised in these meetings, and good agreements were reached in this regard.
The Director of Public Relations and International Affairs of AFZ Organization stated: Participation in the Basra Handicrafts Exhibition on Feb 29 is the first joint event in which AFZ artists will be present.
