Following the visit of the High Delegation of Iran’s Free Zones to Oman, a cooperation agreement was signed between Arvand Free Zone Organization and the Joint Chamber of Oman and Iran.
According to the public relations and international affairs department of AFZ Organization, the Supreme Board of Free Zones of Iran with the presence of Hojjat Abdul Maliki, the advisor to the president and the secretary of the Supreme Council of Free and Special Economic Zones and the company of the managing directors of all free zones of the country; During their trip to Oman, they held joint meetings with the heads of free zones, the Minister of Commerce and chambers of commerce and economic activists of Oman.
During this trip and considering the existence of commonalities and business opportunities in AFZ in order to raise the level of trade exchanges between Iran and Oman, a cooperation agreement between AFZ Organization and the Oman-Iran Joint Chamber with the aim of developing investment and Trade between the two countries was signed.
According to this report, in this agreement, the expansion of cooperation with the aim of export as well as the exchange of investors between AFZ and Oman in the fields of export, production and rebranding are emphasized.
Also, in the mentioned agreement, it was decided that Omani investors who invest in AFZ, all legal and foreign investment permits will be issued to them by AFZ Organization.
