The AFZ’s vice president for culture, social and tourism announced the signing of a petition expressing disgust for insulting the Holy Quran by Arbaeen Hosseini pilgrims at Shalamcheh border.
According AFZ’s public relations and international affairs report, Hadi Zarshenas condemned the insult to the Holy Quran by Western countries and said: This petition was signed by more than 10,000 pilgrims who were going to Karbala through Shalamcheh border during Arbaeen Hosseini.
He added: After the Arbaeen Hosseini walk, this petition will be handed over to the Secretariat of the Supreme Council of Free & Commercial Zones, and finally they will hand over this symbol of solidarity to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the representative of the United Nations.
AFZ’s deputy for culture, social and tourism said: Prominent personalities such as Ayatollah Farhani, the representative of Khuzestan in the Assembly of Leadership Experts, AFZ’s CEO, the commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, and Khorramshahr’s Imam of Friday prayer signed this petition.
