According to the public relations and international affairs department of Arvand Free Zone Organization, the Secretary of Iran’s Supreme Council of Free Trade-Industrial and Special Economic Zones, Hojatullah Abdul Maliki, who was speaking in a meeting with the delegation of investors of the United Arab Emirates, added: Iran’s free zones are ready for any kind of cooperation in the field of facilitating investment and developing trade with Islamic countries, especially with the UAE.
Abdul Abdul Maliki mentioned the publication of a book introducing 370 investment opportunities in free zones in three languages, Persian, Arabic and English, and added: In this book, the fields of investment in the seven free zones of Iran are specified by mentioning the technical and engineering details and emphasizing the operationalization of these plans separately for each zone, which can facilitate the investors of these zones.
He also said: We have planned a special program for Emirati investors in the free zones and we are ready to provide any kind of assistance to facilitate the Emirati investors in the free zones of Iran.
The president’s adviser added: Seven new free zones have been added to the current seven free zones in Iran, and these new zones can be an attractive idea for investors, and we are ready to introduce investment opportunities in these zones to investors, especially Emirati investors.
Lastly, In this meeting, the members of the UAE investment board also emphasized the commonalities of Iran and the UAE and announced: these commonalities will make the field of cooperation easy and the parties can cooperate in different fields
