Investigating the shortcomings and obstacles of Arbaeen pilgrims at Shalamcheh border terminal

Arvand Free Zone Organization’s deputy of Investment and Business Development together with the representatives of Arbaeen Hosseini headquarters of the organization, in a meeting with the officials of Shalamcheh border terminal of Iraq, examined the shortcomings in the way of pilgrims during Arbaeen of Imam Hossein days.
According to the public relations and international affairs department of Arvand Free Zone Organization, due to the closeness of Arbaeen Hosseini days and the presence of millions of pilgrims in the western border terminals of the country, Arvand Free Zone Organization is also planning to smooth the path of the pilgrims of Aba Abdallah al-Hussein (PBUH) from the border terminal. Shalamcheh has started various mechanisms and is following up and doing them.
On this basis, on Wednesday, a group of representatives of Arbaeen Hosseini Headquarters of Arvand Free Zone Organization met and discussed with the Iraqi officials of Shalamcheh at the border of Shalemcheh.
In the joint meeting, the two sides examined the deficiencies in Shalamcheh border terminals and made the necessary planning to eliminate the deficiencies by inviting the custodians of the matter in the field of road and water supply.
Also, the transportation routes to the border terminals of the two countries were visited and it was decided that in order to facilitate the movement of Arbaeen Hosseini pilgrims, from the capacities of both sides to create infrastructure and asphalt roads leading to the border terminal, as well as a part of the area of this terminal where the pilgrims use private and public cars to transfer to the shrines, subject to infrastructure reform and preparation to receive Arbaeen Hosseini guests.
