Joint meeting of Qatar Free Zones and AFZ for mutual cooperation

In the joint meeting of the officials of the free zones and Qatar investors and the AFZ investors at China Fair (CIFIT), their cooperation was evaluated.
According to AFZ’s public relations and international affairs report, on the 3rd day of CIFIT 2023 Fair, the AFZ’s representatives met with the Qatar’s representatives and achieved positive results. In this meeting, it was decided to have mutual cooperation in the fields of oil, gas and petrochemicals in the form of an economic and construction memorandum.
Qatar can be a good business partner for Arvand by having two commercial and airport free zones and their flexible rules and having common points with AFZ.
After the expert talks, the parties reached an initial understanding and it was decided that AFZ will support the Qatar’s producers in production and export to countries such as Iraq and Kuwait, and they will complete the technology and high-tech chain for AFZ’s producers. After the initial agreements, the final talks were postponed to another time.
