Turkmenistan’s Union of Industries and Entrepreneurs Board Member Visits Iran’s Free Zones Pavilion at Kish Expo 2025

On the fifth day of the international Kish Expo 2025, Arazov Begenj, a member of the Board of Directors of the Union of Industries and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan and a member of the country’s cabinet, visited the dedicated pavilion of the Secretariat of the Supreme Council and the organizations of Iran’s Free Zones. During the visit, he became acquainted with the capacities and investment opportunities available in Iran’s free zones.
According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Department of the Arvand Free Trade Zone Organization, quoting FRENA, representatives of the free zones of Maku, Anzali, Chabahar, and Ardabil presented their respective capabilities, competitive advantages, and investment opportunities. The meeting also explored avenues for expanding joint cooperation, particularly in the field of logistics.
At the conclusion of the meeting, and in an interview with the Public Relations Department of the Secretariat of the Supreme Council of Free Zones and Special Economic Zones, the Turkmenistan official assessed the level of talks positively, describing the meeting as constructive and expressing appreciation for the comprehensive presentation of Iran’s free zones’ capacities.
Referring to the capabilities of Turkmenistan’s free zones, Arazov Begenj also invited Iranian officials and economic actors to visit and explore potential areas of cooperation in his country’s free zones.
It is worth noting that the second international Kish Expo 2025 is being held from December 9 to 14 at the Kish International Exhibition Center, hosting interested participants and visitors.
