Martyr Jahanara Memorial was held in Khorramshahr

The AFZ’s Deputy for culture, social and tourism announced holding of Jahanara Martyr Memorial with anniversary of his martyrdom in Khorramshahr.
According AFZ’s public relations and international affairs report, Hadi Zarshanas, stated that Martyr Jahanara has provided a lot of services to Islam and the revolution, especially in Khorramshahr during the Holy Defense war and said: Last evening coincided with anniversary of this martyr, a ceremony was held at Khorramshahr Jame Mosque with the support of AFZ, Basij Resistance Area, Imam Juma Office, Governorate, Khorramshahr Municipality.
He said: Jahanara played a major role in guiding popular movements and mobilizing military forces and organizing them against the Ba’athist forces and clarified: In the school of martyrdom, self-sacrifice in the way of God and defending the truth is valued at the highest level and the self-sacrifice and martyrdom in the text of Islam is a brilliant and prominent feature.
Martyr Seyyed Mohammad Ali Jahanara (1333-1360 AD) was one of the fighters against Pahlavi regime and great commanders of the imposed war, and after many services to Islam and the revolution, especially to Khorramshahr, he was martyred in an air accident in 1360 AD. Jahanara played a major role in guiding popular movements and mobilizing military forces and organizing them against Baathist forces and hypocrites.
