Peyman Adibi, the Director of Social Development and Sports of Arvand Free Zone Organization announced the end of the Kyokushin Matsushima Karate Tournament of the Fajr Decade Cup with the victory of Arvand Free Zone team.
According to Public Relations and International Affairs Department of Arvand Free Zone Organization, Adibi stated that these competitions started on Friday with the presence of seven teams in Abadan Kosar Hall and ended on Saturday morning with the determination of the top teams: In this period of competitions, 250 athletes in 33 different weights competed with each other for one day.
He added: “These competitions were held in the age categories of children, teenagers, youth and adults in the style of Kyushin Karate Matsushima.”
Finally, Adibi said: At the end of this tournament, Arvand Free Zone team won 12 gold, 8 silver and 14 bronze medals and stood on the championship platform with 66 points. Masjed Soleiman Naft team with eight gold, three silver and 10 bronze medals and with 40 points won the second place of this competition and the third title came to Khuzestan team with five gold, four silver and seven bronze medals and in total winning 30 points.
