The new passenger terminal of Abadan Ayatollah Jami Airport will be ready for operation soon with a physical progress of 92%.

According to Public Relations and International Affairs Department of Arvand Free Zone Organization, Mo’oud Shamkhani the Deputy of Technical and Infrastructure Affairs, during a visit with the Chairman and CEO of this organization to the new terminal of Ayatollah Jami Airport in Abadan, stated: “Considering the fulfillment of the obligations of the Arvand Free Zone Organization and the completion of construction operations, we will see the opening of the new terminal of this airport in the near future, along with 92% physical progress.”
Shamkhani stated that this project started in 2014 and is one of the most important projects of this organization this year.
About 800 billion rials have been spent for this project and now it has 92% physical progress and according to the plan, it will be put into operation in the near future.
