Implementation of sewage collection network operation and improvement of Khorramshahr’s Dorband and Sad Dastgah Thoroughfares

Mowood Shamkhani, the deputy of technical and infrastructure affairs of Arvand Free Zone Organization, announced the implementation of the sewage collection network and improvement of thoroughfares in Khorramshahr’s Dorband and Sad Dastgah in cooperation of Khuzestan Water and Sewerage Company in accordance with the Khorramshahr Water and Sewerage Networks Implementation Memorandum.
According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Department of Arvand Free Zone Organization, Mowood Shamkhani added: “In line with the organization’s special attention to deprived areas, a contract was signed with Khuzestan Water and Sewerage Company for the implementation of the agreement.”
He pointed out that the required budget for the project is about 157 Billion Rials, all of which has been provided by Arvand Free Zone Organization. The implementation of this project achieves some of the goals of the Arvand Free Zone in the development of civil infrastructure, which is included in the strategic plan of this organization, and has a significant impact on improving the health, environment and social welfare of the areas covered by the project. So far, it has achieved 35% of physical progress.
At the end, Technical and Infrastructure Affairs Deputy of Arvand Free Zone Organization said: with the completion of this project, about 10 km of sewerage network piping network will be implemented with polyethylene pipes and 2500 household branches, and also about two kilometers of drilling tape repair, 20 thousand square meters of asphalt and two kilometers of thoroughfare curbs will be repaired.
