Establishment of a National Business System (Sakkuk) in Free and Special Economic Zones

Deputy of Production, Export and Technology of Secretariat of the Supreme Council of Free and Special Economic Zones announced the establishment of a national business system in free and special economic zones. Public Relations and International Affairs department of Arvand Free Zone Organization reports, quoted from Freena News the Public Relations Secretariat of the High Council of Free and Special Economic Zones, Akbar Eftekhari, announced the latest achievement of the Secretariat of the Supreme Council of Free and Special Economic Zones, in support of producers and enterprises based in Free and Special Economic Zones.
A memorandum of understanding for the establishment of this system in Free and Special Economic Zones was signed today with the presence of Morteza Bank, the president’s advisor and secretary of the Supreme Council of Free and Special Economic Zones.
Deputy of Production, Export and Technology of Secretariat of the Supreme Council of Free and Special Economic Zones continued: The removal of barriers to the production of units and enterprises located in the regions, helping to solve the financing problem, and improving the supply chain management of these units is one of the main goals of the Secretariat of the High Council of Free and Special Economic Zones, which the establishment of that is the provider of these goals.
Explaining the dimensions of the ecosystem and the new business platform, Eftekhari said: The national business system, through the use of modern methods of supply chain management, logistics and financial and IT-based, seeks to facilitate inter-firm deals through current instruments of the financial system of the country, such as e-commerce, and by connecting to credit institutions, such as guarantee funds and reputable banks, it accelerates business transactions based on credit transactions.
He added that according to the studies, the lack of liquidity, the reduction of working capital, the lack of proper communication with financial institutions, the reduction of interbank transactions due to reduced trust between the parties, and increased costs of facilities, are the major problems of manufacturing units and economic firms that are located in free and special economic zones.
He emphasized that the system has been developed in free zones with the aim of solving these challenges and improving the business space of enterprises, thus improving the production space.
Eftekhari continued: By identifying and creating production-to-consumption chains, the new system creates a pay-as-you-go mechanism for trading in all parts of the chain using e-commerce. This process can take place between several companies (B2B), or in transactions with the presence of small customers and consumers (B2C).
He added: “On the other hand, using the validation mechanisms in this system, that specially designed for production and economic units located in free and special economic zones, the firm’s trust to presence in national business country system is provided.
The security of transactions has also been achieved through the use of digital signatures that are tailored to the issues of business law and e-commerce law. “On the other hand, the upcoming system is being developed using the” Block Chain “technology, which by using virtual currency can help countries and active firms use international currencies in international transactions, especially during the Sanctions. Referring to the long-term strategies of the Deputy of Production, Export and Technology of the Secretariat of the High Council of Free and Special Economic Zones, said: Provisions were made to establish the first support and guarantee fund from investors, producers and business units specially for free and special economic zones; until in the near future, the fund play a role as a supportive entity to accredit existing firms in the system.
Eftekhari said the system was designed and implemented in cooperation with one of the most prestigious private sectors in the country, Tose’eh Tejarat Electronic Negin Tosan Company.
He expressed his hope that by using the new financial instruments and tools based on this system, we would create the prospect of manufacturing units, reduce liquidity crises, develop employment, and boost the economy in the free zones and the country.
